Signature Sponsorship has been appointed to manage T.T. commercial and sponsorship contracts for the next three years. In addition, London based PR agency - The Media Foundry - has the task of generating increased press coverage for the races, which celebrate their centenary next year. Tourism Minister David Cretney says it's vital to reorganise things behind the scenes to help secure the future of the T.T.

TT quiz in Keys - 09/05/2006
Questions will be asked in the House of Keys today on the long term future of the TT. Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask the Tourism Minister what steps have been taken to broaden the festival into other motorcycle events. He will also encourage David Cretney to ask the general public for their views on how the TT should diversify. Mr Karran says he's no TT expert but he believes action needs to be taken to secure its future.

Standardise Race Number Plates NOW:
It is proving very difficult in many cases to read the Race No. Plate on the front (and sometimes the side) of bikes these days. Think of the marshals and the spectators. Make numbers readable....EXAMPLES

Engine Development or Course Changes ?
The promise of a 130 mile-per-hour lap was firmly in the minds of competitors and fans alike as TT 2006 got underway. Dramatic changes to one section of the Mountain Course could put all lap and race records in danger, weather permitting.
