PLANNING OUR VISIT

Well, the TT is less than 100 days ahead and therefore it is wise to take stock of what is booked and what needs to be done.
Anyone who has been before will have paid their deposit before leaving the Island... Now the invoices crash through the letterbox with.. We open the envelope and say "HOW MUCH ??". It has gone up again and one wonders if this expanse of water from the Mersey to Douglas is the dearest trip in the world..
However, if one has sense and rationalises the situation, it can be seen that things level out. The homestay, campsite or even b-and-b hotel keeps the balance. Watching the racing for two weeks is free unless you pay for grandstand seats or to sit in someones garden...
Time to re-confirm your residence for the coming TT period..Beds will be at a premium. so make sure you are expected, not rely on "See you next year" yelled through your helmet as you departed from your place of stay to catch the ferry home.....
The next thing to consider is where you will be watching this year.. Look at some of the TT Websites to see if there have been any changes in access to vantage spots, any changes to vantage spots in fact, see Brandish for instance !!
