I book my ferry for 2007 and meet Paul, a biker from Belgium.

I do yet another lap and meet up with some fans who ask where my favourite vantage spot is. I take them to Keppel Gate at Clarks Corner so we sit and watch the mad lads come round from the 33rd. They are now convinced !

I drive back to the paddock and bump into Mick Chatterton and Con Law.

The scrutineering is being carried out on the machines for tomorrows classic lap so I get permission to sit on a machine similar to the bikes I saw on my first visit in 1947.

I then go to see the brace of helicopters on station for the medics for tomorrows racing.
