THE ULTIMATE TT BIKES SOME OF THE MACHINES WHICH HAVE IMPRESSED US

The awesome Moto Guzzi V-8 ridden in the 1957 TT by Dickie Dale.

Ridden in the 1993 TT by Shaun Harris (right) then by a three-man team in 1994 led by Nick Jefferies and Mark Farmer. Shaun rode it once more in 1996 in memory of John Britten.

The incredible BRITTEN TWIN

The Norton "Kneeler" ridden by Ray Amm in 1953 but only in practice.

One of the Honda-4s in 1960 (above ridden by Tom Phillis) which revolutionised racing.
Below, the 125 twin which won the 1959 Manufacturers Team prize at first attempt.
On the right is the Honda 250-6 which arrived on the scene in 1966 at the same time as the big 500-4 both ridden with great effect, by Mike Hailwood...

Honda come to contest the TT Races.
From the sublime to the ridiculous - the fascinating Kreidler 50s, with 12-speed gearboxes - was it 4 on the foot and 3 on the handlebars (the latter like a scooter) ? Hearing them try to find the right gear after the plunge down Bray Hill was.....amusing!
